Undeniably annoying day because I almost lost my lunch by barfing. Why? Because!

It was almost 12noon when a lady friend sent me an SMS saying she and my ex will be meeting up somewhere to have lunch together and she asked my ex whether they can be alone to talk and have a third wheel around - she meant the current girlfriend - I believe she wanted to talk things over with the ex without the girl hearing them talk. Hehehe.

So where do I lose my appetite? It’s somewhere between the SMS when she tells me that the ex hasn’t replied yet to her request and the next message when she says that they’re already eating and the dang girl is with them. So I said, “eeeeww… don’t make me imagine…” I wasn’t actually finished with my delightful cheesecake but at that very moment, I just wanted to barf. Good thing the KPMG people were with me on the table, so I just pushed down what I was chewing on and downed it with a big gulp of water. Urgh.

I just don’t have the slightest idea why I really hate the notion of seeing them together. It just plain sucks.

Logically speaking, or blogging in this case, if something has been around for a long time already, a person would already be used to it.

Take for example my case with my ex. For all of my readers to know, he still doesn’t call me by my first name. If and when he sends me a text message, he doesn’t address me by my first name - that’s why I posted something previously ….. (read full blog post! —> click here)

What’s a Meantime Girl?

She’s
the one you talk to only when you’re bored because she makes you laugh
with her crazy stories. She’s the one you talk to when you’re feeling
down because she’s willing to lend an ear, and she really listens.
She’s not the one you call when you’re out with friends on a Saturday
night. She’s the one you spend time with between girlfriends, before
you find "The One". You know the one who you keep around in the
meantime.

It was a rough night last night - rough because I received messages
from my ex. Ok, some of you maybe sighing right now saying, "Oh no,
she’s into it again."

But actually, no. I just felt bad also to
be the recipient of such musings again. I’m sorry to post it all here,
but I just have this need to air it all out before I suffocate.

Yesterday
was September 3, it would have been our "monthsary" given that we’re
still together. Given that all was like before, there would have been a
date, dinner after work, a walk around the mall or wherever our feet
would take us, maybe a cup of coffee before going home, reminiscing
some good times, things we’ve been through, greeting each other, and an
almost never ending barrage of sweet nothings.

But that was just the "what would have been" scenario. Yesterday was different. Just like the previous (to read full article, click HERE…)

I’ve been looking at my blogstats and what a surprise, most hits came
from the post related to dumping the guy… Hmmmm… Seems like it’s a
common dilemma, huh?

Well, I’m not an expert, nor do I consider
myself one. I just have had this experience of a really terrible
break-up, and came to realize that all the tell-tale signs (well at
least the common ones almost always mentioned in advice columns…)
were present but I was just so blinded by my efforts (at least I felt I
tried) of trying to patch things up that I didn’t quite notice ‘em.

So
in summary, and also based on my experience, some of the signs that
your relationship may be on the verge of a rocky part or is almost at
the point of self-destruction are the following:

1. Changes in behavior.
This may include sudden interest in new perfumes/scents, new shirts,
new pants, or possible new looks that may or may not it him. Sometimes,

Hmmm, I chose to play with my hair today and decided to go to the office with curls. Although my hair is a lot shorter than before - due to braincell breakdown, I was so excited to get a haircut, and now I’m kinda dreading it. Anyway, so as I said, I went to the office with curls on.

It’s not much of a fuss, I just like the feeling of having a little curl in my hair. Besides, it wasn’t only me who arrived in the office with changes made to their locks.

My "boss" also had her hair done. The usual side part was now in the middle. And the usual salon-done straight hair was renewed, with a little color red - the same hue you notice on recently-done hair. Hmmm, I wasn’t quite overwhelmed by the change, although I admit, I was curious enough to notice that even a change in where the hair is parted can give such a different effect on the face of the wearer. Well, some changes are for the better, others are well, for the good.

It’s been a while… thank you very much… I didn’t know, well okay, I wished I can be as stoic as possible regarding some things and some people. Hopefully, a few more days and I may be achieving another goal….

So there, I might also post an online poll for one topic I’d rather like to discuss just for the heck of it - I won’t divulge the topic yet so that I won’t preordain anything or something. Hmm, what else has happened to me…. I’d say a lot… Hehehe!

One thing is I already broke up with my long-time boyfriend - now that’s very old news - and another is that I was so busy in the last two months and now I’m gonna be less busy because I’ll be going back to auditing again. I’m still thinking things over whether I’ll leave for Davao or not in the coming week or so.

What else? Hmmm, not much really. Just a few adventures here and there - and oh, dear friends I know it’s been a long while since we went out, when do you think is the next time we’ll be spending the night out? Hmmm? Call me or text me, k?
